Night Creepers (A Poem)

Night Creepers Photo.jpg

Faster goes the arrow

Slower comes the truth

Misguided youth spreads its wings

Over the doormat of faith

Unbeknown to the tattered bin of hope

The snake of oblivion comes to rescue the fair maiden

Seeking only the love it feels it has lost

The moon creeps slowly into the room

Forever silent

Forever deep

Vapors of mist spread up from the earth

A new day dawns to relinquish the night’s hold

Though all appears the same

The difference in the dark

Is the same in the light

Beware the one

Cherish the other
